We’re on the lookout for skilled and experienced Second Engineers to join our crew.

Job description

- In consultation with the Master be responsible for Passage Planning (ECDIS) –
- In charge and update ECDIS (Navigational Charts) and other relevant Nautical Publications.
- Collect all relevant information regarding maritime safety information and disseminate it to Officer on Watch.
- Check the operational condition and maintenance of navigational and communication equipment; and report any deficiency to the Master.
- Perform safe Navigational Watch when at sea and Anchor Watch while in the anchorage, observing International and National Rules of the Road.
- Assist the Chief Mate in cargo operation and act as Duty Officer in Port, ensuring safety on deck, mooring lines, gangway, parking and unparking of Cranes.
- Observe safe handling, stowage and delivery of cargo, during the tour of his/her duty.
- Prepare Voyage Reports and Medical Reports.
- Prepare Ship and Crew Accounts and other related matters as assigned by the Master, such as:
- Monthly payroll and cash advance payment.
- Communication Account both for Owners and Crew’s private.

We expect you to have at least one year of experience as a Second Officer or equivalent in international trade or experience and/or with a higher license.
