4th Engineer

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Fourth Engineer to join our crew.

Job Description

- Familiarize with the duties and responsibilities of an Engineer in Charge of Engine Watchkeeping by observing the applicable instructions when the vessel is at sea or in port.
- Perform watches as advised by Chief Engineer.
- Participate in the operation and maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant.
- Participate in the operation and maintenance of Lub. Oil and F.O. Purifiers.
- Participate in bunkering and sounding of tanks.
- Participate in the weekly test of lifesaving appliances such as lifeboat motors, emergency fire pumps, emergency generators, function and manual manipulation of Funnel Fire Dampers and Engine Room Ventilation flaps.
- Participate in Lub. Oil sampling and reporting.
- Participate in the operation and maintenance of Air Compressors and pumps.
- Assist during the upkeep of special and precision tools for the Main Engine, Auxiliary Engines and Machinery.

We expect you to have at least one year of experience as Fourth Engineer or equivalent on international trade
